A unique and gentle full body
massage that will address the whole you and will be designed to suit your
individual needs. About the Treatment
What is a Holistic Massage?
The word ‘Holistic,’ can be defined as the treatment of a person as a whole as different parts of us are intimately connected. In terms of the Holistic massage, this concept will be utilised by your therapist by taking into account how you are feeling physically, energetically and emotionally. Therefore, the treatment you will receive will be totally unique and tailored to you specifically.
This treatment combines many techniques including oil-based Swedish massage, gentle massage, deep tissue massage, stretches, pulsing and Reiki (improving the flow of energy in one-self).
Not only will this treatment allow your muscles to relax and release tension, but your mind will feel more calm and composed, improving your body as a whole.
Why choose Holistic Massage?
This treatment is excellent if you are in need of some general relaxation but also a boost of energy and vitality. It is recommended for people having a massage for the first time and if you are unsure about the depth of pressure that you prefer, as the therapist can alter this during treatment according to your suggestions.
Main benefits

What to expect…
Before
The key feature of the holistic massage is to work ‘with’ you. The therapist will learn about any medical history, about what you expect from the treatment and how you want to feel as a result. This will ensure that the treatment is specific to your needs and you can get the most out of the process.
You will be left alone to undress (underwear should remain), and then lie on the massage table with assistance by the therapist if required.
During
You are encouraged to unwind and enjoy the relaxation process during your treatment. Massage oils will be used along with various strokes and stretching techniques. A relief of stress and tightness should be felt; however, no pain should be endured. In the case of feeling any pain during the massage please let the therapist know straight away.
After
After the treatment we advise to drink plenty of water in order to aid removal of toxins that will have been released and to rehydrate the body. Alcohol should also be avoided. Following the massage, you should continue to relax and if feeling sore, a hot bath is highly recommended.
Please note: All our therapists can perform the summer massage. Your summer massage can be combined with all massage treatments so simply choose your massage
type and leave an additional comment "summer massage" on the booking confirmation page.
