- What is a Chair Massage?
This modern-day chair massage is a quick stress release for people on-the-go. This treatment involves sitting on a chair that has a downward angled cradle for your face to rest on and combines kneading and acupressure to relieve tension in the muscles, of areas of your back, shoulders, neck and arms which is an effective way to counteract physical tension and the negative effects of stress. By the end of the treatment you will feel reenergized to carry on with your day.

What to expect…
Before the treatment, the therapist will ask about any medical history and what you would like to gain from the treatment. They will demonstrate how to get into the massage chair which will be adjusted until you are perfectly comfortable.
During the treatment, you will be seated in a special chair with your face resting in a cradle looking down at the floor. Your therapist will relieve muscle tension in your back and neck by using Swedish massage moves such as kneading and compression, which does not require oil.
After your treatment, we advise to drink plenty of water to aid removal of toxins that will have been released and to rehydrate the body. Alcohol should also be avoided. Following the massage, you should both continue to relax and if feeling sore, a hot bath is highly recommended.
